Alexx Nielsen is a Recording/Mix Engineer from Denver, Colorado currently in Boston, Massachusetts and moving to Los Angeles, California in the fall of 2021. Originally a drummer in a pop punk band, his love for audio engineering began when his parents bought him his first audio interface and microphones to record his drum set. In High School Alexx attended Denver School of the Arts, a magnet school to the Denver Public Schools. Here he was exposed to the wonderful sonic spaces of jazz and classical music while performing in numerous shows and competitions around the nation ranging from the All School Musical to Duke Ellington’s “Night Creature” at Lincoln Center in New York City. During this time he was also exposed to his first Music Production and Audio engineering class which only cemented the fact that audio is what he wanted to do as a career. After a long stint of doing intensely competitive Drumline with The Blue Knights Percussion Ensemble and Rise Percussion, He was accepted into Berklee College of Music. He sees this as the universe pushing him to his true desires of audio engineering. At Berklee he has studied under some of the best music and audio technology Professors in the world and has been lucky enough to gain even the slightest bits of knowledge from them, and hopes to use the lessons and experiences as a jumping point into the world of audio.

Some of his hobbies include: Golf, Car Racing, and Playing Call of Duty with His friends.
